Delivery and policies:

 

We offer a delivery service throughout the San Francisco / Bay Area. Delivery fees are calculated at $1.75 per mile plus any toll fees incurred. We are based in Oakland.

Delivery hours are 9-3 .  Deliveries are scheduled in one hour ranges, (ex: 1-2, 2-3, etc..) exact times cannot be promised.

 

Customer must arrange to have someone on site  and available by phone at agreed upon time of delivery.

Any balance due must be paid via cash at time of delivery. No credit cards or checks are accepted on delivery.

If balance is not paid in cash at time of delivery, cake will be returned to the studio and customer can arrange to pick up.

 

If client will not be on site at time of delivery, balance must be paid in full no later than 5 days before delivery.

We are unable to ship cakes.  Due to the fragile nature of these works, our cakes must be hand delivered by a member of our staff. We deliver throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Long distance deliveries may be arranged . Significant fees apply.

 

Pick ups:

You may opt to pick up your cake from our Oakland studio, however, due to the extremely fragile nature of this medium you will assume all responsibility for cakes you choose to self transport. Pickups will take place curbside , outside our Oakland kitchen.

 

Design variations:

Due to the nature of the medium and because these are hand made items, while I endeavor to make items as accurately as possible,  I am unable to promise exact design or color matches. 

 

Budget:

Knowing how much you have budgeted for your cake will help me create the ideal design for you and your budget.

 

Returns/ cancellations:

All items are hand made and edible and cannot be returned.

No refunds shall be issued after cake is safely delivered and accepted at delivery. Please be sure to carefully follow handling instructions when handling your cake.

We are not responsible for the cakes after they are delivered and accepted.

 

Cancellations:

All retainers received are NON REFUNDABLE in the event of a cancellation.

These cakes are custom works that often require parts, structures, etc.. these  elements are often made weeks in advance. As these are all made to order they cannot be re-sold.

We do NOT accept orders or provide quotes over the phone. There is no phone number on our site, please don't phone.
